Subdomain already managed by another team

Hi, I’m trying to add a custom domain to my site (https://brendonkoh-portfolio.netlify.app/) and I’ve run into the error message shown below:

rbind.io or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS or another team

As rbind.io isn’t a subdomain I have access to, I am not able to delete the subdomain from the other team that supposedly owns it. (as suggested by other forum posts on this topic) I’m not sure how to proceed from here and would really appreciate any assistance, thank you!

I’ve also raised the issue over on the rbind.io github (Request for rbind.io subdomain · Issue #926 · rbind/support · GitHub).

The DNS Zone has been deleted from the other account.

Welcome to the forums and thanks so much for reaching out!

If you delete the DNS zone on the other team, you will be able to use the domain on your new team.

If you cannot find the other team or DNS zone, we have a DNS verification process. There is more information about that here:

​Please let us know if you create the verification DNS record or if there are any other questions.

When I try to add my domain drewnorman.com to any of my netlify accounts which I must have a few I get this message that the domain has been added to another team. How do I find all the teams that I have created? I am not sure which email is associated with these accounts either. The only common element is they are all owned by me Drew Norman. You can try these 2 emails alphabytes48@gmail.com and drewnorman1226@gmail.com. if you can let me know what github accounts these are associated with would also be helpful. Thanks

Hello Netlify Team,

I deleted my previous account because I was not able to remove cache from the previous website. When I started to upload new files, all the old photos transferred to the new website. Due to this issue, I decided to delete my account and create a new one from scratch. However, when I tried to add my domain “swendl.com,” I received this message:

" swendl.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team."

I have already created a TXT record for the domain.

Please help me resolve this issue. Additionally, I would like to know how to delete all websites along with their caches in the future.

Hi, did you follow the instructions outlined here? This is what I see when I search for a txt record.

 host -t txt verified-for-netlify.swendl.com
verified-for-netlify.swendl.com has no TXT record
