Another site is using this domain error with Godaddy Domain

Hello

I need to verify my custom subdomain that keeps giving me an error : Another site is already using this domain

I’ve added the TXT Record in my DNS

  • Site name: linktopus.netlify.app
  • Domain: linktopus.in
  • I’ve tried the chatbot that gave me the TXT solution, I’ve added the records, still giving me the same error.
  • The domain isn’t linked to any other website, i’ve removed all A and CNAME Records

That’s because there’s no automated system for it, see my related three year old feature request here:

You need to wait for Netlify’s support team to do the removal manually.

Thanks for the answer, I did read that there was a team that does it, any idea how long they take to manually verify?

Well I got it resolved!

How?

I Switched to Vercel. 2 minutes and my custom domain was linked.
