Account terminated due to it being falsley "malicious"... :/

I am not trying to sound like a butt… but my experience here has been bad… VERY
i dont like to immediatley crash down with critisisms whenever im new to a platform, but this experience has been so immusing that i cant even make an account

im a web developer, a british one, i dont have a team, a company, it’s just me… i have wanted to use netlify for a while, ive heard great things about it! and im sure it is great! but, i have not been able to make an account, and the second “honesty” comes in, its a boot to the face…

when i saw my account was “reported as fraudulent” i did what anyone did, i contacted support as i assumed it would be a lot easier than using my ID card, which i need to get replaced as it is very discoloured and warn out…

i explain this:

i plan to make an account for a retail business named GINGJIN company… and a small automobile company who is in the same small city i am in, i don’t feel like sharing where exactly, as i don’t want to make my location public, and its a general pet peeve of mine to share my address over gmail…

im not exactly sure what the GINGJIN company necessarily accomplishes, they just gave me some assets and told me that they wanted a list of items working and “go at it”… lol… contact am i right?

i’m not sure who intends to read, them, as it’s mostly the plan of the companies im working with, but i do hope they reach a wide audience! and maybe inspire some people to have their business…

it would be pretty good practice for me to make these sites too…

the aftermath? a terminated account, and i didnt even make one yet
i tried responding to the “eviction” or “f*** you” notice, but nothing… the same robotic message…

i tried to respond to another email and got another premade responce, saying “beep boop hello you probably use this site already, here are some unhelpful tips on random things you arnet asking for”

im trying to think of good things about this site so far, but i can think of nothing, if any admins or managers are reading this, this is not personal

i am only asking for if there are any possible resolutions i can make, talking to an ACTUAL HUMAN… which is pretty rare nowadays

thats fine but i still wanna use netlify, im not saying you are “unhelpful” but im still asking in case there is someone of a higher role (like user managent) who can find a resolution…

theres no reason im “wasting my time” when all im trying to do is find a way to solve a problem…

@elliothobbs I’m not sure if it’s “machine learning” specifically, but it’s definitely automated.

I have no authority at all, and by wasting your time, I just mean that the time you spend on discussion with Netlify, when they seemingly don’t want you as a customer, could be spent immediately working with another service.

Hi @elliothobbs :wave:t6: , thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry your experience with our Platform has been less than satisfactory. Please review our VP of Security’s response regarding account bans/suspensions.

Spammers make it incredibly difficult for us to our jobs and we have worked on a solution to mitigate these impacts.

This unfortunately was NOT the best way to go about this. We have set up an integration with Stripe to verify ID documents (yes even if they are discoloured or warn out). We have no way of ensuring you are legitimate without an ID verification, so explaining your situation would result in nothing other than the current status of your account (banned).

Yes, Lucikly there is another resolution. If you are interested in using our platform you will need to verify your ID. Would you like to receive a verification link to the email you listed in your initial reply?
