Hey, I am a new user to Netlify & I created an account using GitHub. It then showed an error. I then tried to login with email and it says that I have been suspended. Tried all the steps of getting back the account and none of them seem to work. What would have been the problem? Need the account to upload some web-projects and I can’t.

You can verify yourself via stripe to unlock your account. Please try signing in again and follow the prompts to upload a copy of your ID so we can be sure you are legitimate. Please view a list of acceptable documentation for your country here. If you are not prompted to do this please submit a support ticket and mark the reason as “signup/login”.

The support ticket thing didn’t work for me! Received similar emails when I tried the manual verification after logging in. Even emailed the proofs, and almost immediately I receive the email for unsuccessful retrieval of the account as if its auto-generated!

- Sign up
- Verify email (==> “Link expired”)
- Reset password
- Account suspended
- Verify Identity
i. “We were unable to verify your identity and reinstate your Netlify account.” - Verify manually (submit ticket)
- Immediately receive message below
- Repeat starting at #5

behavior. As a result, we are unable to enable your account. We understand that you may have questions regarding the ban; however, please note that we will not be able to provide further review or additional reasoning for this decision.We appreciate your interest in our services, and while we understand this may be disappointing news, we take the security and integrity of our platform very seriously. Our Fraud and Abuse Team has thoroughly reviewed the situation, and based on their assessment, the decision to disable your account has been made. We value your understanding and cooperation.

Should I have been prompted to input some sort of ID number/photo?
You should have put in a picture of a passport or drivers license. Did you do that. If so and it didn’t work out please write a support ticket and let me know when this is done so I can escalate this to the fraud and abuse team.

When I submit a ticket (#210927, #210939, #210942, #211319), I get the following response:
We have received your message about your log in issue. We’ll need you to provide a screenshot(s) of the error you are facing as well as the associated email address before our team can analyze this request.

I have responded to this message (by replying to the Zendesk email) with the requested information (associated email address and screenshots of the error). The most recent issue number from this last ticket is #211319.
