We were unable to verify your identity and reinstate Netlify account

I need help! I signed up on Netlify yesterday via my Github account. Github sent me a mail confirming the addition of a third-party application to my account before I received a Netlify mail asking me to verify my ID.

The verify Identity button is greyed out on the site I got redirected to from the email and it later loads up a page with the message, ‘we were unable to verify your identity and reinstate your Netlify account.’

I didn’t even get the chance to do any ID verification. I’m surprised as to why that is. Please help.

Thanks for the prompt response. I’ll remove my email from the text body and follow the provided link.

I did as the link instructed. I filled the form and clicked the send this support request button. It shows sending for a few seconds and the “send this support request” texts pops back as the button text. I don’t know if the request was successfully sent as I didn’t get any notification to confirm if the action was completed.

@Owolabi :person_shrugging: I don’t know, I don’t work for Netlify and have never used it.

I just know that it’s the correct way to create a support ticket with the Fraud & Abuse team at Netlify.

If a support staff member assists you via the forum, it’s usually just to make a ticket with that same team.

Oh! I mistook you for a Nelify staff.
