What happens when bandwidth is reached / exceeded?

This has been asked for netlify specifically (What happens when bandwidth is exceeded?), but my questions is now for garsby Cloud, so what happens if I hit the bandwidth limit and am about to exceed it? I’m on a free plan and have not yet provided any payment information, so how would I be charged?

I don’t think anything happens, except you can expect a member of the sales team to reach out to you.

So no slow down or stopping serving requests or such, correct? Where can I get an official stance on this? I don’t see it documented anywhere, but I might have missed it.

Hi there @benomatis - I’m one of the Support Engineers coming over from the Gatsby Cloud side, and I can confirm that the bandwidth limit on Gatsby Cloud is a soft limit. That is, there won’t be any service disruptions for going in excess during a billing period. Our team uses these measurements to gauge where your site(s) are at regarding resources, so we can find the plan that best fits your organization.
