URL or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team

Hello,

I recently purchased conifer.dev from namecheap. I’m trying to deploy my netlify site conifer.netlify.app to this domain, but when I try to add a custom domain to my site, I get the following error:

What should I do here? I bought the domain yesterday and haven’t registered it elsewhere with Netlify.

Hey there! We can help you with that. We will have you create a TXT record at your registrar to prove domain ownership. Please create a DNS TXT record for verified-for-netlify.conifer.dev with a value of verifying for Netlify support case peytondmurray. Once it is created, let us know and we will release the domain for you! Thanks!

Okay, I added a DNS TXT record with host verified-for-netlify.conifer.dev and value verifying for Netlify support case peytondmurray. Is there anything else I need to do?

I can’t see any txt records for your domain.

 host -t txt verified-for-netlify.conifer.dev
Host verified-for-netlify.conifer.dev not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
