URGENT: voxa.vc managed by Netlify DNS on another team (Orphaned DNS Zone)

Hi Netlify Support,

I am experiencing an urgent issue connecting my custom domain to my current Netlify account due to an orphaned DNS zone error.

Details:

  • Netlify Site Name (New Account): voxa-earth.netlify.app
  • Custom Domain: voxa.vc
  • Error Message: voxa.vc or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.
  • Target Account: faycelbrain@gmail.com (username: faycelbrain)
  • Old Account (Deleted): faycalada7@gmail.com (username: zora12356)

Root Cause:
The domain voxa.vc was previously linked to my old Netlify account (zora12356). I have since deleted both the custom domain configuration and the entire project on that old account. However, the DNS zone remains stuck in Netlify’s system under the old team—leaving the domain locked in an orphaned ghost zone.

Verification Steps Taken:

  • Deleted domain and project from the old account.
  • Added the required DNS ownership verification TXT record on Namecheap:
    • Host/Name: verified-for-netlify
    • Type: TXT
    • Value: 1108156

Request:
This is time-sensitive. Could a Netlify engineer please urgently clear/purge the stale DNS zone for voxa.vc so I can assign it to my current account (faycelbrain)?
