Trouble connecting my Nelify domain to my new Squarespace hosting site

My domain is currently registered under Netlify (via name.com). I initially used Wordpress.org as a hosting site for pepperkat.com, however, I have built a new website on Squarespace and want to link my pepperkat.com website to my SquareSpace hosting site. Every time I try to connect my registered domain with Netlify and connect it to SquareSpace after selecting name.com as the domain register, after a couple of days of attempting to connect, I keep getting a “connection error.”

Do you know what may be the problem?

This has been happening for a couple of weeks now and I’ll need my site up and running as soon as possible.

If you have purchased a domain through Netlify and are not going to use Netlify for the domain you will need to transfer it away from Netlify

Ok, is there a way for it to be fully transferred to name.com without me being associated it Netlfiy anymore?

Yes. This procedure is outlined in the Support Guide I shared previously.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of where “transfer” is? The the support site is a little difficult to read and navigate (and I’m visually impaired so it’s challenging to see)

In the meantime, here is my name.com account code: Account Code: 2796263-214acb4

Do you mean like this?

Ok, thanks! I was using Safari and for some reason the site looks blurry. However, I tried Chrome and now it looks like your screenshot.

Verifying your ICANN contact details at Name.com*

Also, I’ve verified my ICANN contact details at Name.com

As long as you included all the relevant information in the support ticket I am sure a Netlify Support Engineer will help you through the rest of the process as soon as they can.

I have nothing to do with this, or Netlify, I am simply a community member helping guide people.
