Hello Netlify Support Team, I hope you are doing well today. I am creating this post because I am completely stuck trying to generate a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for my custom domain.
Whenever I click the provision button, I receive this exact error: “certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”
Here are my project details:

My DNS changes have fully propagated (the site loads over standard HTTP), and the Netlify UI shows the green checkmarks for DNS verification. From reading previous forum posts, it seems like I might have a “stale” certificate state stuck on your backend that is blocking the automated process.
Could a support engineer please manually clear or reset the SSL state for my site so I can generate a new certificate?
