SSL provisioning stuck for chislamttc.com despite Netlify DNS setup

Hi Netlify team,

My site is hosted at: chislam-ttc.netlify.app
Custom domain: chislamttc.com and www.chislamttc.com

I updated my nameservers to Netlify DNS (dns1.p07.nsone.net, etc.) over 24 hours ago and confirmed propagation globally. DNS records are correct:

  • A @ → 75.2.60.5
  • A @ → 99.83.190.102
  • CNAME www → chislam-ttc.netlify.app

Despite this, SSL provisioning is stuck. I cannot set www.chislamttc.com as the primary domain because it says:

“We’re provisioning a certificate for your site, you cannot change custom domains until that process completes.”

Trying to provision a certificate gives:

“DNS verification failed — chislamttc.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify.”

At this point, the only thing left is for Netlify support to clear the stale SSL state so I can continue. I’ve removed and re-added domains, waited hours, and DNS is definitely propagated.

Can someone please manually reset the SSL provisioning lock?

Thanks so much in advance.

Hey Rizzy,

It seems that for the domain chislamttc.com, you did configured both External DNS and NEtlify DNS.

You can only choose one method for the configuration as having both configured may conflict with the DNS verification and provisioning.

I’ve sent this request to our helpdesk, and we’ll follow up shortly via email to get this sorted for you. Thank you!
