I can’t log in to Netlify using my email address. When I try to do so, it says “No user found for this email/password”. I think this is because I signed up for Netlify with my Github account and not with my email address.
Hi @contentocontento, the usual solution for this issue is the following steps:
Login to Netlify using the email address and password only.
If you do not have a password configured, you can add one by using the password reset form: Netlify App
Once logged into Netlify with the email address and password, then change the GitHub account associated with this email address here: Netlify App
Log out of Netlify.
Once this is done, you should be able to log into Netlify using GitHub or the email address. Both methods of login should work now. If they do not or if there are any other questions, please let us know.
Unfortunately, the password of my email address linked to my Github account was the same as the password of my Github account and I lost access to both accounts because I forgot one of them.
Would it be possible for you to remove these two sites that I said were live for me?
Hi, @contentocontento. We cannot make changes to these sites without the permission of the account owner. You will need to reply to us using the email address of the account owner in order for us to make any changes to this account.
As you have not yet proved that you are the account owner, we cannot make any changes to this account or sites.
I am the account holder, but I forgot my account password and I cannot access my account in any way. It is important that these sites are taken off the air. Is there any way to remove them?
Unfortunately no. Perhaps you can contact your email provider and have them help you reset the password so you can gain access to your email then write in again with the email on file. Once we verify the emails match we can proceed. Until this is done we cannot proceed with the removal of those sites.
