Redirect www to naked domain

Hi,
I am completely out of my breadth here and I know nothing about site backends. My student association has been using Netlify for our website with Github (domain is ecouo.ca) but we switched the other day to Google Sites. After switching, the www.ecouo.ca domain works to connect to our new Google site but the naked domain displays this error and nothing comes up:

Try:

What can I do to get the naked domain to redirect to the www. domain?? I’ve set up both domains on my Google site (as seen by the A records) but still nothing. I am uploading my DNS settings and my project’s domain management. When I click on [ecouo.netlify.app] (https://ecouo.netlify.app/) and www.ecouo.ca it takes me to the old website (I’m assuming because it’s still connected to the Github site) and the naked domain takes me nowhere I get the error message I mentioned above. I tried contacting support and they told me to add a _redirect file in my public folder but I cant find that either.

Help please!

I’ve routed this to our helpdesk, we’ll follow up via email.
