Recreated deleted site with the same domain not working

Site name: elel-dev (i dont remember the one i’ve deleted)
Custom domain: elel.dev (google domains)
DNS error: “elel.dev is already registered. If you registered this domain name through a different registrar, select Add domain to begin delegating it to Netlify.”. it is stucked in “Awaiting External DNS”.

But when i try to add domain: “A DNS zone for this domain already exists on NS1, the DNS provider backing Netlify DNS”. but that should not be the case

I have the doubt that using the same domain as in the deleted site create problems, such as “another site is already using the domain”.

Hi, @elel-dev. Have you tried the external DNS instructions?

I would suggest trying that. If there are any questions about those instructions, please let us know.

I contacted NS1 as suggested and the issue was solved. They answered me with:
“The zone was secured in NS1 internal parking zone. I just cleared it from the zone. You should be good now to add the zone/domain.”
