Setting up Netlify DNS for your domain Error

So I had previously created a site and added a custom domain at lajaradigital.com with dsn1 ds2 records using namecheap. Then I deleted the site with these records but it seems they were not released.

Right now, I am trying to deploy this same domain lajaraditial.com but I am having an error with DNS.

Under “Add DNS record” I get this error.

“A DNS zone for this domain already exists on NS1, the DNS provider backing Netlify DNS”

Is there any way to restore the deleted site so that i can delete the custom domain?
How do i clear the NS1 records from a site that was deleted?
