Orphaned DNS zone blocking domain after team deletion — need zone released

Hi, I previously had a Netlify team that I deleted without first removing the DNS zone for novoxmarketing.com. This left an orphaned zone in Netlify’s system that I cannot delete myself.

I have already added a verification TXT record to prove ownership:

My current site is elegant-biscochitos-3344c9.netlify.app and I want to connect novoxmarketing.com to it using external DNS (not Netlify DNS) because I have email hosting at Hostinger that I cannot move.

Could a Netlify staff member please delete the orphaned DNS zone for novoxmarketing.com so I can add it as an external domain?

To anyone reading this with the same issue, I tried for 3 days doing all sorts of things to get the issue resolved but no success… In the end what worked was going here: Netlify Support and selecting the topic “Release Domain From Another Account” then followed the steps mentioned and within a few hours the issue was resolved. Best of luck
