Site: smoked2027-sponsors
Custom domains: apply.smokedfestival.au and os.smokedfestival.au
My Let’s Encrypt certificate won’t provision. Under Domain management → HTTPS, clicking “Verify DNS configuration” succeeds (“DNS verification was successful”), but clicking “Provision certificate” always returns “We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain.” Visitors to my forms get a “your connection is not private” warning.
What I’ve tried:
- DNS is pointing at Netlify and verifies cleanly every time.
- Ran Verify DNS → Provision certificate several times across multiple days, including waiting 24+ hours between attempts. It always fails at the provisioning step.
I believe I’ve hit the Let’s Encrypt weekly duplicate-certificate rate limit (5 per 7 days) from the repeated attempts, so new requests are now being refused rather than there being any DNS/config problem on my side.
Could someone please reset/clear the stuck certificate state for smoked2027-sponsors and re-provision a fresh certificate for apply.smokedfestival.au and os.smokedfestival.au? Or let me know when the rate limit resets so I can make one clean attempt — I’ll hold off retrying in the meantime. Thanks!
