Issue Adding Custom Domain: wizkidconsultants.com

Dear Netlify Support,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an issue I encountered while attempting to add a custom domain to my Netlify account. When trying to add the domain “wizkidconsultants.com,” I received the following error message: “wizkidconsultants.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”

I believe this may be due to a previous account that managed this domain, which has since been deleted. Despite following the instructions provided by the Netlify AI, specifically adding a TXT record with the name “verified-for-netlify” to my domain’s DNS settings, the issue persists.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or steps you can provide to successfully add the custom domain to my current Netlify account.

As shown below, the TXT record does not appear to exist @faizan1

$ host -t txt verified-for-netlify.wizkidconsultants.com
Host verified-for-netlify.wizkidconsultants.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Once you have created this record a member of Netlify’s support team can release the domain from the old account.

Note: if you were expecting this was an automated process, it isn’t. Making this self-service is an open feature request: Fix another site is already using this domain self-service

A DNS zone for this domain already exists on NS1, the DNS provider backing Netlify DNS

Please contact Netlify Support with the domain name so we can initiate a support case with NS1 on your behalf
