Is it true that netlify bricks my site if I run out of deploy credits?

Does not one else think that’s absurd?
build credits should be different from uptime. I can’t believe a spike in usage or feature releases from my agent risks bricking my site.

I will be migrating to Vercel or anyone else as soon as possible. Hopefully I’m misunderstanding. It seems like a terrible product decision.

@brianross93 I haven’t hosted with Netlify for several years now, but I was able to confirm your interpretation of the pricing model with your exact phrasing via “Ask Netlify”…

Seems absurd to me, but so is ‘credit based pricing’ in general.
