Inconsistent Website Access Issue on Mobile Devices

Subject: Inconsistent Website Access Issue on Mobile Devices

Dear Netlify Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance with a technical issue related to my website hosted on Netlify. I have encountered an issue where my website, mirfozil.tech, is inaccessible on specific mobile devices, particularly on a cellular data connection. I am experiencing the error message “DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN” when trying to access the site. The issue is as follows:

Description of the Issue:

  • When attempting to access the website on a mobile device, particularly my partner’s phone, it results in the error message “This site can’t be reached. Check if there is a typo in mirfozil.tech . DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.”
  • Interestingly, the website works when connected to Wi-Fi, but the issue occurs when accessing it over a cellular data connection.
  • This issue appears to be specific to my partner’s phone, as I can access the website without any problems on my own devices.

Steps Taken to Resolve the Issue:

  • I have checked and confirmed that the domain “mirfozil.tech” is correctly configured with the domain registrar, and the DNS records are pointing to the correct Netlify hosting server.
  • I have verified that the website is correctly deployed on Netlify, and the GitHub repository is up to date.
  • I have cleared the DNS cache on the affected mobile device.
  • I have tested different mobile devices, and the issue seems to be specific to my partner’s phone.
  • I have also tested different cellular networks to see if the issue is network-specific.

Request for Assistance:
I kindly request your assistance in diagnosing and resolving this issue. As it appears to be specific to a mobile device accessing the website over a cellular data connection, I believe there may be a configuration or DNS-related issue that needs to be addressed.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your guidance in resolving the issue. Please let me know if you require any further information or access to my account for troubleshooting.

Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,
Mirfozil Gofurjonov mirfozilbm@gmail.com

Have you tried changing you DNS servers? Sometimes, the default DNS server provided by your mobile carrier might have issues. You can manually configure your device to use a different DNS server like Google DNS or try https://public-dns.info
