How long does it take for a DNS zone deletion to take effect (Another site is already using this domain)

Hello!

I’m trying to move a custom domain from one netlify account to another. I’m not sure if I did something wrong, i need to perform additional verification, or im just impatient :slight_smile:

Here are the steps I took:

  1. Log into the account that currently has the domain
  2. Delete the custom domain
  3. Delete the domain’s zone
  4. Log into new account
  5. Attempt to add the domain

result: get this error:
“Another site is already using this domain”

new netlify site name: ubiquitous-alpaca-af410f
custom domain: webuyoldrugs.com

Hi, @dupe. I believe you also wrote into our helpdesk about this and have recently sent an update there stating that you resolved this issue on your own.
