Error in adding domain name: domain or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team

error when attempting to add a custom domain: “gywde.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”

Hi there.

My team and I are currently developing a site, originally we had the site set up under one of our developers netlify account and the custom domain name [gywde.com] added to that site.

A new netlfy account specifically for the company was created recently, the project was added to the account, the custom domain [gywde.com] was removed from the previous netlify account and we tried adding the domain name to the newly created account.

But we are still being prompted that the domain is being used by another netlify team when attempting to add the custom domain to a new site under a new account.

The custom domain has been deleted from the netlify account few days, and the following details has been added to the domain host [GoDaddy]:
DNS TXT record: “verified-for-netlify”
TTL: default
Text/Value: link to this post

please what steps can be taken for this to rectified?

You’ve already done what’s necessary, now Netlify’s team will check the TXT record you’ve added and manually remove the domain from any other accounts that it is against.

@Melvin This one also looks lined up.
