Hi Netlify Support,
I’ve deployed a few projects via GitHub onto Netlify using the default *.netlify.app subdomains (no custom domains yet). Although the deployment logs show success and the project builds without error, when I try to open the site, I consistently get this error:
This site can’t provide a secure connection.
eatwellui.netlify.app sent an invalid response.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Re-deployed the project manually
- Created a brand-new site with a different name
- Waited over 10 minutes after deploy
- Cleared browser cache, tried incognito mode
- Switched browsers and even networks
- Tested on different devices
- No custom domain attached, only default Netlify subdomain
It seems like SSL certificate provisioning is not working for the Netlify subdomain.
Example site URL:
https://eatwellui.netlify.app
Can you help me identify the issue, or manually provision the SSL certificate if needed?
Thanks in advance,
Burcu Taş
