Hello Netlify Team,
I am experiencing a connectivity issue affecting access to my Netlify-hosted website from Egypt.
Project:
- Custom domain: zafriqon.com
- Netlify subdomain: zafriqon-app.netlify.app
Current status:
- Deployment is Published.
- Netlify DNS is configured correctly.
- HTTPS certificate is valid.
- The website works normally from Syria.
- The website also works immediately on the same Windows computer when a VPN is enabled.
Without VPN from Egypt:
- Both domains fail with ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
- curl.exe returns:
curl: (7) Failed to connect to server on port 443.
Troubleshooting completed:
- Multiple browsers tested.
- Different DNS servers tested.
- Mobile hotspot tested.
- Windows network reset performed.
- Firewall and antivirus checked.
- The issue persists across different connections.
- Enabling a VPN on the same computer immediately resolves the issue.
Based on these tests, this appears to be a regional routing or connectivity issue affecting traffic from Egypt rather than a deployment or DNS configuration problem.
Could someone from the Netlify team please investigate?
Thank you.
