Subject: Netlify subdomains (*.netlify.app) completely blocked in Egypt

Hi Netlify Support Team,

I am reporting a general blocking issue affecting Netlify subdomains (*.netlify.app) in Egypt. Here are the exact technical details of the problem:

  • Deployment Status: Sites are deployed successfully.

  • DNS Resolution: Domain names resolve correctly.

  • Global Availability: Sites are reported online globally with successful HTTP 200 codes.

  • VPN Testing: Sites open instantly when using a VPN (Tested via UK VPN).

  • Local Access: Sites fail to load completely across major Egyptian ISPs (WE, Orange, Vodafone) unless a VPN is active.

  • Netlify Dashboard: The main Netlify dashboard and netlify.com website are accessible normally without a VPN.

This is a widespread issue affecting many users in Egypt. Could you please check if your default CDN IP addresses for *.netlify.app are blacklisted by Egyptian ISPs? Is there any workaround or alternate IP/node configuration you can provide, or is using a custom domain the only solution?

I am from Egypt too

and I cannot access my Netlify site without VPN:

The site opens normally when using a VPN, but from Egyptian internet connections it does not load.

Main details:

- Country: Egypt

- Affected domain: *.netlify.app

- Netlify dashboard works normally

- The site works with VPN

- The issue happens without VPN

- Error shown in browser: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT / This site can’t be reached

This seems to be a regional access/routing/blocking issue affecting Netlify subdomains in Egypt.

Please investigate or escalate this with your network/CDN/provider team.
