Domain or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team

Hello Netlify Team,

I am facing an issue while trying to attach my domain growwezy.com to a new Netlify site grow35.netlify.app

Previously, this domain was connected to an older Netlify site under a different team in different account. I have already:

  • Removed the domain from the old site

  • Deleted the old Netlify team completely

  • Confirmed that my domain is using GoDaddy nameservers (ns77.domaincontrol.com / ns78.domaincontrol.com)

  • Correctly configured DNS records:

    • A record: @ → 75.2.60.5

    • CNAME: www → polite-pudding-dfe716.netlify.app

However, when I try to add the domain to my new Netlify site, I receive the following error:

growwezy.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”

Since the old team has already been deleted and the domain is not attached to any active site under my control, it appears that the domain is still internally locked within Netlify.

Could you please release growwezy.com from the previous team association so I can attach it to my current Netlify site?

If ownership verification is required, I can modify DNS records to prove domain ownership.

Thank you for your assistance.
