Can't login to my account!

Hello everyone,

I need to deploy the HTML and CSS prototype of the website. I already used Netlify to deploy one website and today I tried logging in and I couldn’t. I created my Netlify account with a GitHub account and I tried logging in with the same account credentials it redirected me to a page with some text that I couldn’t read because it redirected me to a blank page with a Netlify logo animating, URL of a blank page was https://app.netlify.com/. I tried logging in again but I couldn’t, it wouldn’t even let me to the login page, I deleted cookies and managed to get to the login page. Then again, I had the same problem, I again deleted cookies and went to log in with my GitHub email and password, but I couldn’t do that either, it said there was no account with that email. Something similar happened to me a few months ago. I also tried with a different laptop and again nothing happened, I also with 3 different Google accounts but same problem. I suppose this issue is related to my Netlify account which could help you track the problem. I need this fixed urgently because I had to deploy this app immediately!!

Thanks for reaching out! If you’re trying to log in with Github, try this set of instructions first:

  1. Login to Netlify using the email address and password only.
  • If you do not have a password configured, you can add one by using the password reset form: Netlify App
  1. Once logged into Netlify with the email address and password, then change the GitHub account associated with this email address here: Netlify App
  2. Log out of Netlify.

Once this is done, you should be able to log into Netlify using GitHub or the email address. Both methods of login should work now.
