Accidentally deleted the netlify type dns record. can I add it back?

I am trying to fix add back the netlify dns record type but that seems to be some sort of custom DNS record type.

here is waht i had befor:

anyway to fix this back to its original form?

Is this even an issue?

Hi @lalsamir

Short answer, no, you can’t add NETLIFY type records.

Options:

  • Remove the domain from Netlify and add it back. This will create the required records when re-added.
  • A Support Engineer can add the missing records for you.

The first option is quicker if you don’t have a large number of other records.
