2 subdomain same root Domain in different Netlify accounts - Another site is already using this domain

I received the message that I couldn’t use the same domain, subdomain in this case in 2 accounts from Netlify, to solve the problem I migrated the management to Cloudflare where the main domains are still working fine on my account.

However when I try to configure the new subdomain stepwiseconsulting.n-code.co on the app stepwise-consulting.netlify.app in another account it doesn´t accept returning the message:
Another site is already using this domain

I was managing my DNS Zone using Netlify, but when I needed to configure officially this website stepwise-consulting.netlify.app for my customer, I couldn’t use the subdomain in another Netlify account.

We are doing a test with the serverless forms to check if it works fine with our project to move to the next step.

As I couldn’t configure the subdomain in a second account from Netlify to my client I moved the domain [n-code .co] to Cloudflare.

  • We need to know your netlify site name. Example: gifted-antelope-58b104.netlify.app
    stepwise-consulting.netlify.app
    The app was configured in my personal account, now it is configured at my client account for tests, however it doesn’t accept point the domain to the subdomain stepwiseconsulting.n-code.co.

  • DNS issues? Tell us the custom domain, tell us the error message! We can’t help if we don’t know your domain.
    stepwiseconsulting.n-code.co

There is no domain management anymore on my main account

Just to inform, I made some tests including another subdomain from another main Domain that I have and it worked.

Different subdomain from another domain is working properly.

I was thinking that it would be some kinda of delay to refresh the network but I’ve trying during the last 2 days to update the subdomains but it doesn’t work.

So if you guys know how to remove any lingering associations on the accounts, please let me know.

Just to confirm, do you want to use a subdomain in another account while the apex domain lives in one account on Netlify? Or did I misunderstand the request?
