Someone on 15th August 2022 entered my website and anonymously sent a malicious message to my comment feed, I would like to know who that person is if it is still possible to recover their IP Address. If it is not possible, I would like to know how I could implement a visitor tracker on my own for my site. Thank you for any one of your support and assistance!

We won’t be sharing any IP Address (or personal information) without a legal body requesting the information. But to track this information yourself, you can use various built-in and third-party tools.
Netlify Edge Functions and Netlify Functions, both give you access to user’s IP Address, which you can store somewhere yourself.
Google Analytics doesn’t show IP Address either, but I believe there must be some other tools that would provide this information to you.
