I want to link my app to my custom domain, which I manage through GoDaddy. I have already set up the DNS record settings as per the docs. However, I am facing the same issue as otherfolks on this forum:
<MY_URL.com> or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.
My sense is that I have to follow the steps listed on this answer, which requires me to request verification of my domain by adding a TXT record. I am creating this thread for the same. I have gone ahead and created the TXT record using the URL for this support forum thread. Please let me know if you need any other information on this.

You can post that information publicly or you can private message (PM) that to one of our support staff. I’ve confirmed that PMs are enabled for your forum login. Sorry for the delay, this domain is now removed from the other account. You should be able to add it to your site. Please let me know if that is not the case.
Please try again. I just removed the DNSZone from the other account. You got this error because this was on another account by you. GitHub confirmed this… it was over a year ago and there was no site deployed but perhaps you forgot. Nonetheless this should not be an issue. Please let me know if that’s not the case and I will escalate accordingly.
