TLS/SSL provisioning error - certificate parameter is required

I’m getting the error “certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate” when trying to provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for my custom domain.

  • Site name: nextid.com

  • Custom domain: verifier2.nextid.com

  • DNS verification: :white_check_mark: successful

  • Error: “certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”

Please reset/clear the existing certificate so I can provision a new one. Thank you!

This issue was resolved a short time after I made this posting.

Apparently Netlify was unable to provision the SSL certificate for our custom domain due to the DNS cache time to live (TTL) value for the CNAME record had not had time to expire. All good now.
