Certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate — cannot provision Let’s Encrypt cert

I’ve just added a custom domain networksurgeon.xyz to my Netlify project. DNS verification passed successfully, but when I click “Provision certificate” I get the error: “certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”. It appears there may be a stale/old certificate attached to the project blocking the new one from being provisioned. Could you please clear the existing certificate record so I can reprovision?

Hi, @Olalekan_Bello. I’m showing SSL was successfully provisioned the same day this post was created. If you still see issues with SSL, please let us know.

Hi Netlify Support,

DNS verification is successful for my custom domain, but SSL provisioning fails with:
“certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”

Please manually clear/reset the stale TLS/SSL certificate state so I can provision a fresh Let’s Encrypt certificate.

Site: integral-hair-solutions.netlify.app
Custom domain: integralhairsolutions.com
www: www.integralhairsolutions.com
DNS: External DNS
A record: 75.2.60.5
www CNAME: integral-hair-solutions.netlify.app

Netlify’s dashboard confirms DNS verification was successful.
