Stuck SSL certificate state on my site

Hi Netlify team,

I’m hoping you can help me resolve a stuck SSL certificate state on my site.

The situation: My custom domain resolves and loads correctly in the browser (Chrome shows “Connection is secure”), but Netlify is unable to complete SSL certificate provisioning. Every time I click Provision Certificate, I receive the error:

“certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”

My setup:

  • I am using external DNS (Cloudflare)

  • A record: taxnodepro.io → 75.2.60.5

  • CNAME record: www → [my-site].netlify.app

  • DNS propagation appears complete, the site loads normally from any browser

What I need:
Could you please reset or clear the TLS/SSL certificate state for my site so I can reprovision a fresh certificate? Based on other forum threads with the same error (e.g., this one), this appears to be a backend state issue that requires a manual reset on your end.

I’ve been waiting several days and the site is fully live, this is the only remaining step blocking my setup from being complete.

That site has had working SSL since May 4. Why do you believe SSL is not working for it? What sort of error are you seeing?

It said somethng about certificate parameters on a partial certificate. Its fixed now. Maybe it was just me seeing it. Im on a very old laptop. Thank you !
