Hi Netlify team,
My custom domain hana-tradingcar.com has been stuck in the “Preparing your domain…” state for over 48 hours.
Here is the situation:
- Domain registered with: Gabia (Korea)
- Nameservers are correctly set to:
- Netlify DNS is active and configured as follows:
@ and www point to my site via NETLIFY record
api.hana-tradingcar.com is set via A record (working fine)
However:
- SSL has not been provisioned
hana-tradingcar.com and www.hana-tradingcar.com are not resolving globally (A/AAAA records missing)
- Still shows “Preparing your domain…” under Domain Management
This seems to be an issue where the SSL provisioning and DNS zone activation has not completed.
Please manually trigger SSL certificate issuance and DNS propagation for my domain.
Thank you!
This appears to be resolved. Are you still running into issues?
I am having the exact same issues with my domain name - help!
Hi Netlify Support,
I’m seeing the banner in Site settings → Domain management → HTTPS that says:
“manufacturingchina.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify. We can’t renew your Let’s Encrypt certificate automatically until the issue is resolved.”
However, I believe this may be a false-positive in the UI because:
-
My DNS is fully managed by Netlify DNS.
-
dig A manufacturingchina.com resolves only to the Netlify load balancer IPs (75.2.60.5 and 99.83.190.102).
-
dig AAAA manufacturingchina.com returns no IPv6 records.
-
dig CAA manufacturingchina.com returns no CAA records.
-
dig +dnssec manufacturingchina.com shows no DS records and no DNSSEC.
-
Running openssl s_client -connect ``manufacturingchina.com:443`` -servername manufacturingchina.comconfirms a valid Let’s Encrypt E7 certificate issued Aug 22, 2025 and expiring Nov 20, 2025, covering both manufacturingchina.com and www.manufacturingchina.com.
So the certificate is already active and valid, but the dashboard still shows the renewal warning. Can you confirm if this is a UI sync issue on your end, and whether auto-renewal will proceed normally?
Thanks!
