Subject: SSL certificate stuck on “Waiting on DNS propagation” for several hours
Site name: chrisoyston (chrisoyston.netlify.app)
Custom domain: chrisoystonpsychology.co.nz
Hi team,
My SSL certificate has been stuck on “Waiting on DNS propagation” for several hours now. I’ve done the following checks and everything looks clean on my end:
- Both A records (root and www) point to 75.2.60.5, confirmed via whatsmydns.net showing full global propagation
- Let’s Debug (letsdebug.net) reports “All OK” for chrisoystonpsychology.co.nz — no issues found
- DNS verification on the Netlify dashboard shows as successful
Given DNS looks fully propagated and clean, could someone please manually re-trigger or check the certificate provisioning for this domain?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Subject: SSL certificate stuck provisioning after 13+ hours, DNS verification succeeded twice
Site name: chrisoyston (chrisoyston.netlify.app)
Domain: chrisoystonpsychology.co.nz
Issue:
My custom domain’s SSL/TLS certificate has not provisioned. DNS verification has now succeeded twice, most recently about 13 hours ago, but the certificate still shows “Waiting on DNS propagation” / has not issued.
What I’ve already checked on my end:
- dig A, AAAA, and NS records all look correct and clean — no duplicate A records, no leftover AAAA records
- Ran the domain through Let’s Debug (letsdebug.net) — no errors reported (no CAA, AAAA, or DNSSEC issues flagged)
- DNSSEC is not enabled at my registrar
- CNAME for www is correctly pointed
- Clicked “Retry DNS verification” multiple times
Given DNS checks out cleanly on my end and this has happened twice now, I suspect this may be a stuck job in the Let’s Encrypt provisioning queue on Netlify’s backend. Could someone please check the certificate provisioning logs for this site and manually re-trigger issuance if needed?
Thanks,
