SSL certificate stuck "doesn't appear to be served by Netlify" despite fully verified DNS

My site’s SSL certificate page shows “www.cashpalmatms.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify,” blocking automatic certificate renewal. I’m on Netlify DNS (not external) with a single, non-duplicated DNS zone.

I’ve ruled out every cause I can find:

  • DNS fully propagated: confirmed via DNSChecker.org, 33/33 global resolvers correct, including Google’s own resolver
  • Server: Netlify header confirmed present on both www.cashpalmatms.com and cashpalmatms.com (apex correctly redirects to www)
  • Google successfully crawling and fetching the page (confirmed via Rich Results Test and Search Console Live URL test)
  • Only one DNS zone exists for this domain — no duplicate or stale zone
  • Apex record uses the automatic NETLIFY record type, not a manual A record
  • “Renew certificate” attempted multiple times, no change
  • Google Public DNS cache flushed for both domains, no change

This looks like the internal certificate provisioning state is stuck and needs a manual reset on Netlify’s side. I’ve already opened a support ticket (email) with no response yet. Site: www.cashpalmatms.com.

Follow-up: also ran Let’s Debug (the Let’s Encrypt community’s own diagnostic tool) against both www.cashpalmatms.com and cashpalmatms.com — “All OK!” on both, no AAAA/IPv6 leftover records, no CAA conflicts. At this point I’ve exhausted every external diagnostic tool available (DNSChecker, HTTP header inspection, Google crawler test, Let’s Debug) and all confirm the domain is correctly configured and served by Netlify. This really does look like it needs a manual backend reset on your end.

Hi, @CashPalm. That is an old error, not a current one. It is safe to ignore, and I’ve clear the error from the SSL panel now to avoid confusion in the future.
