SSL certificate provisioning fails with "certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate"

Netlify site name: chipper-praline-0e515e.netlify.app

Custom domain: trianon-capital.com

Context: This domain was previously configured on a different Netlify account belonging to a former developer, to which I no longer had access. I contacted support last week, who successfully released the domain from that account. The domain is now correctly attached to my current site as the primary domain, and DNS verification passes (“DNS verification was successful”).

Error: When I click “Provision certificate” on the SSL/TLS certificate section of Domain management, I get this error:

“certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”

DNS records (all verified clean, via Cloudflare, proxy disabled/DNS only):

I suspect a leftover/stale certificate reference from the previous account or the domain migration is blocking the new Let’s Encrypt provisioning. Since this seems to be a backend state issue, could someone from the Netlify team take a look and reset the certificate state for this domain?

Thank you.
