SSL certificate provisioning fails — "certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate"

Hi Netlify Support,

I’m unable to provision a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for my custom domain. DNS verification passes successfully, but clicking “Provision certificate” returns the error: “certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”.

I’ve tried removing and re-adding the domain — same result.

Netlify site name: movetote.netlify.app Custom domain: movetote.com DNS provider: External (Namecheap) DNS records configured:

  • A record @75.2.60.5

  • CNAME wwwmovetote.netlify.app

DNS verification status: :white_check_mark: successful (when I run “Verify DNS configuration”)

Error message: “certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”

It appears there’s a stale certificate record on the project blocking new provisioning. Could a support engineer please reset the TLS/SSL certificate state so I can provision a fresh Let’s Encrypt cert? Thank you.

Same config, same issue
