I am on a free plan and my project was working fine until yesterday, Since yesterday it moved behind password protection page and in dashboard it shows that the project is behind the password page:
It says I can change the access by going to visitor access setting but that option is locked because I am on free plan! I don’t know how to unlock it again.
Has anyone else faced this problem before?
@ckalpit Is your site a ‘clone site’ or anything similar?
Netlify used to suspend sites and users for creating clone sites, as they would violate other companies IP.
This allows students to still learn from tutorials using a ‘clone site’, without it being publicly visible.
No this is not a clone, One thing I noticed is, it started getting some random bot traffic and then it was behind password page.
My ask is very simple, how can I unlock the site i.e. remove password protection which is paid feature but enabled on my account hence I am not able to do anything.
Another thing to note is, on the project pages it shows it is locked but on the general>visitor section it shows N/A to access restriction. so I dont know how it is enabled on my project!
I’ve routed this request to our helpdesk, we’ll follow up via email.
