Request for DNS Record Refresh

Hi Netlify team,

I’m experiencing an issue where one of my TXT records for ryanchester.com is not propagating properly, specifically the ProtonMail verification record:
protonmail-verification=6ab5a407563c90f7aa33a07491add670ace73366

Although the record has been added correctly to the Netlify DNS dashboard, it is not visible when using tools like dig or DNS verification services. This issue is preventing ProtonMail from verifying the domain.

Could a support engineer please manually refresh or reset the DNS records for ryanchester.com to ensure all records are propagated properly?

Thank you so much Sam - that fixed the issue!

In the future, is there anything I can do differently to prevent this, or perhaps a fix I can apply myself so that I can take care of this myself next time? It’d be amazing if I were able to refresh the DNS records myself (based on previous posts, it seems I might not be alone in this sentiment, too).

This issue impacted a client of mine whose email I’m managing, and it’s extremely important to me that this either doesn’t happen again, or is at least fixable in a timely manner.

Hi @poweredbyreverie! I’m not sure what caused this specific issue in the first place, so unfortunately I can’t speak to how to avoid it in the future. However, you can “refresh” the records on your end by simply deleting them and re-creating them in the DNS panel. If you do run into this again, that would be the easiest and fastest solution.

Hi Netlify team,

I’m experiencing the same problem, specifically with Proton as well.
I have deleted and re-entered the records multiple times and am still getting errors.
Can you please refresh the records on your side so I can see if that will make this problem go away?

I spent about a week getting errors and re-entering the records (specifically verify and SPF seemed to be the ones with the most problems). It’s now been stable since the day after I wrote that message–so cautiously hoping that multiple resets have done the trick.

i am trying to add my domain name “meilleurgaming.com” to my project “https://meilleurgaming.netlify.app/” , but it says that domain is already registered with another account or team. I added the domain previously to another team on the same account and the i deleted the team and now trying to add the domain again in another team so can you please help me to solve this.
