Subject: Remove wildcard from cert and reissue standard cert — guardiannetwork.io (expires Jul 8)
Hi Netlify team,
My TLS certificate renewal is failing for guardiannetwork.io and the current cert expires Jul 8, so this is time-sensitive.
The certificate currently covers a wildcard (*.guardiannetwork.io) plus the apex. My DNS is managed externally by Cloudflare, not Netlify DNS, so the DNS-01 challenge for the wildcard can’t be created and validation fails.
Error from the renewal email:
SniCertificate::CertificateValidationError: Unable to verify challenge for *.guardiannetwork.io: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.guardiannetwork.io
I do NOT need the wildcard. Could you please remove the *.guardiannetwork.io wildcard and reissue a standard Let’s Encrypt certificate covering only:
A standard cert validates over HTTP-01, which works with my current Cloudflare DNS setup.
Project details:
- Custom domain: guardiannetwork.io
- Netlify subdomain: guardiannetwork.netlify.app
- Site ID: [paste from Project configuration → General]
- Team: iamhpxjr
- DNS provider: Cloudflare (external)
- Cert currently covers: *.guardiannetwork.io, guardiannetwork.io
- Expires: Jul 8
Thank you — appreciate a quick turnaround given the expiry.
Best,
Idris
