Site name: newsongpm
Custom domain: newsongpm.org (primary) and www.newsongpm.org, both on Netlify DNS.
My Let’s Encrypt certificate expired July 15 and automatic renewal keeps failing with:
SniCertificate::CertificateValidationError: Unable to verify challenge for *.newsongpm.org: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.newsongpm.org - check that a DNS record exists for this domain
The current certificate is a wildcard (*.newsongpm.org, newsongpm.org). I do not use any subdomains and do not need a wildcard certificate. Repeated “Renew certificate” attempts fail with the same NXDOMAIN error, and the renew button is now gone (appears rate-limited).
Could you please:
- Delete the stale wildcard certificate.
- Flush the SSL provisioning state.
- Reissue a standard, non-wildcard certificate covering newsongpm.org and www.newsongpm.org.
Thank you.
