Remove stale wildcard certificate and reissue standard certificate

My Let’s Encrypt certificate for spurgeonpowerwashing.com has expired.

Netlify is attempting to renew a wildcard certificate covering:

  • *.spurgeonpowerwashing.com
  • spurgeonpowerwashing.com

My authoritative DNS is managed externally through Porkbun, so Netlify cannot automatically create the required DNS-01 TXT challenge at _acme-challenge.spurgeonpowerwashing.com.

The current error is:

SniCertificate::CertificateValidationError: Unable to verify challenge for *.spurgeonpowerwashing.com: No TXT record found at _acme-challenge.spurgeonpowerwashing.com

I do not need a wildcard certificate. Please:

  1. Remove/delete the stale wildcard certificate.
  2. Flush/reset the SSL provisioning state.
  3. Issue a standard, non-wildcard Let’s Encrypt certificate covering:
    • spurgeonpowerwashing.com
    • www.spurgeonpowerwashing.com

My DNS remains pointed to the Netlify-hosted website, but DNS is managed externally at Porkbun.

Thank you.
