Redirect domain name purchased from cargo to netlify

I bought my domain name (isabtan.com) from cargo collective in 2018. I am trying to switch from cargo to netlify. I am trying to update the DNS records on netlify so that it matches what I see in the dns records on cargo collective. I emailed cargo a while ago and they sent me a transfer code, but I dont see where I can put that in in netlify. I also can’t seem to find the ‘value’ of the ‘a name’ on cargo. How should I go about this? Would I be better off transferring my domain name from cargo to somewhere like Godaddy instead (since I got a transfer code from cargo), and then linking that back to netlify?

You cannot transfer a domain to Netlify (see: [Support Guide] How do I transfer my domain name to (or away from) Netlify?) so yes, you will need to transfer it to a registrar of your choice (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Name, etc.)
