Publish an email campaign when a new page is published

Hey all,

as the title of this post suggests, I am looking for a solution that would automate the email campaign when I trigger a deploy of my site using 11ty.dev and buttondown for the email provider.

Each deploy would create a new page on the site which should be the content of the newsletter. The site would be a place to read all archives.

I have tried using zapier but I can’t find the right trigger action for this process.

I don’t really know if I should set a netlify function for this or if I am wrong in the process alltogether.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

If not, you could set up a deploy notification to an outgoing webhook which then triggers a function to send the email. On the Netlify Functions website there are example using serverless function to send email.

I’m thinking there is a way, but might take a little mucking around to get it working.
