Pro plan's 3000 credits is only 150GB bandwidth

You have changed to using a Credit based system. The old Pro plan had 1TB of bandwidth. The new Pro plan gives us 3000 credits, which at 20 credits per GB, only gives us 150GB a month. I average around 350GBs per month, so using your calculator, I would have to now pay $60 a month, instead of $20.

Have I got something wrong? I can’t afford this. I will have no option but to look elsewhere if this is true.

I got my monthly bandwidth usage wrong. It was 350MBs not GB :frowning:

Still, the reduction from 1TB to 150GB is a bit much.

Hi @Stephen_Hassall

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The adjustments to our meters are for usage at scale. We’ve modeled them so 98% of our customers’ bills stay the same or go down.

  • Bandwidth will go from 10 to 20 credits per GB

  • Compute will go from 5 to 10 credits per GB-Hour

  • Web requests will go from 3 to 2 credits per 10k requests

  • Form submissions are now free

We’re modernizing our model to be more transparent and focused on what you actually build. This involves consolidating legacy metrics into five industry-standard meters. Matching the cost of modern cloud infrastructure for bandwidth and compute required adjusting some individual rates.

We’re happy to examine your bandwidth usage to make recommendations for optimziation to cut your bill. Feel free to write in to support@netlify.com from your registered email address.
