One codebase, two different deployment results?

Hi @hrishikesh

I went into my site and checked my settings, from what I could see the asset optimisations were disabled. I’ve enabled the asset optimisations, unticked the pretty urls option, disabled the asset optimisations then saved. I’ve then redeployed the site and this seems to have now done the trick from what I can tell.

Very odd that this seems to have made a difference, despite the asset optimisations being disabled. Not sure if this is intentional for the platform? But if not perhaps something to look into.

Thanks you so much Hrishikesh for helping out and taking this issue seriously, where others were determined to say that it was an issue with the codebase rather than something to do with Netlify. That was very disappointing to experience, but I’m glad it’s resolved now.

Finally, we’d like to move our custom domain name over from the old site to the new site, unfortunately I can’t at the moment because it is registered to the old site. Is this something you can help with? We’re happy to do whatever we need to do to prove ownership over the domain. We’d also like to have the older site taken down too if that’s possible.

Thanks

We can get the domain unlinked if you can verify it.

Could you add a TXT record for the apex domain with the value 54241 and let us know? Once you do that, let us know here and we can remove the domain from the other site post verification.

About deleting the other site, that probably won’t be possible. We can’t do such a thing about an approval from the account owner.

Hi @hrishikesh

The record should be there now, could you check please?

Thanks

Great. The domain has been removed from the other site.
