I seem to be misunderstanding something again. I just purchased a second domain via Netlify: thomasthorstensson.com - but it is not appearing below Production domains. Should I add thomasthorstensson.com myself below Production domain in domain management?
And second step: I would like demo.thomasthorstensson.com as subdomain. Once I have added the production domain, what is the step for the subdomain?
I was under the impression that a domain bought via nettlify will automatically add itself as production domain? But it seems that did not happen.

At the moment what I have under production domains is neither thomasjt.com or thomasthorstensson.com - thomasthorstensson.com will be my domain going forward. I must be doing some logical confusing thing in my head as I don’t get what is going wrong. I have this in production domain:

Is it the case that I have to wait until I deploy my new site on GitHub, beforre I can assign to thomasthorstensson.com Because no site is assigned yet. Is that why thomasthorstensson.com is not showing up under production domains?
I think this rings a bell from last time when I registered thomasjt.com . So moving forward, once I have deployed my new portfolio site to thomasthorstensson.com in a few weeks time, then I should be able to create a subdomain. Would it be like so:
For each site (github repo), I would have a different subdomain, just like regular netlify.app.
So for example my minimlaudio.netflify.app would be
minimlaudio.thomasthorstensson.com, and so on for each repo.

I guess my question really boils down to this. Once I have Github deployed my new site to thomasthorstensson.com, can I then move my minimlaudio.netlify.app to a subdomain by creating minimlaudio.thomasthorstensson.com ?

No, why would that happen? We don’t have any means to know which domain needs to be connected to which site. We could implement a feature to “guess”, but that doesn’t seem super useful when you can simply add it to the site you need it to.
Just like above, add it to whichever site you need.
