We’re experiencing timeout issue when a api request is sent to generative AI model. Can it be increased to the maximum please? This is for a school project and will only keep this running for 3-4 months.
Hi there, we generally only increase function timeouts on sites that are on a Pro-level account or higher. High function calls can result in billing on the Starter tier, so if you would like to increase function timeout on the Starter tier we ask you to add a credit card to your account first in case billing does occur. Once you do that, let us know and we can increase it for you. Thanks!
So, can i get a brief idea of how much would the billing on this be or till how much function calls can it be used free. Also if i use my credit card, will the amount be deducted automatically or i will have to manually pay for it?

Thanks for following up. Yes, if you have a card on your account, our system will bill the amount directly, you won’t have to manually pay for it.
